Woodwind & Brasswind 30th Anniversary Summer Fest - Bands will perform LIVE during our annual Summer Fest.
Preliminary qualifications for the Fastest Drummer Contest: 12-2pm & 3-5pm.
Tommy Carrol from WRBR-The Bear will give away the last pair of Real Rock Road Trip.
Tickets (to see Disturbed & Slipknot in concert at Tinley Park) during a live broadcast from 3-7pm.
Representatives from Gibson Guitars, Korg, Marshall & Vox, including clinician Paul Kramer, will be in the store to help you chose the right gear for your next gig!
Several door prizes will be given away, and a Remo drum tent will be fun for kids!

WAOR will recruit members for their School of Rock Club. A portion of proceeds from Double T's BBQ food sales and individual donations go toward establishing music programs with the local Boys & Girls Club.

Open Scrapbooking / Card Making / Papercrafting Crop
• Bring your scrapbook stuff, card making stuff, paper crafting stuff, anything you want to work on!
• Learn new cutting edge tips and techniques from one of the instructors there.
• Use new tools and one of our Cricut Die-cutting systems (with many, many cartridges to choose from. (What's the CRICUT buzz all about, you ask? Come find out!!!)
• Participate in a Make-and-Take project. We usually have several to choose from.
• Select items will be available to purchase through cash-and carry sale.
• Enjoy lunch, good company and fun times! Make new friends and network with fellow "croppers"!
Anyone to sign up and pre-pay will receive a FREE gift! Cost: $5; Lunch and snacks are included. Starts at 10:00 a.m.

Six bands will perform LIVE from 12-6pm for a chance to win up to $3,000 in prizes!

-A representative from Gibson Guitars will help you chose the right guitar for you!
-Fastest Drummer Preliminaries will take place 12-2pm, with the finals being at 3 p.m.
-Door prizes will be given away, and kids should visit the Remo drum tent!

Touch Base at the Cove - 4 - 6 p.m.
Touch Base at the Cove is a series of FREE health screenings for men, taking place at Coveleski Stadium, August 19th. Screenings include prostate, HIV, cholesterol, diabetes and more. Each man participating receives one complementary dinner at the cove, and will be entered to win tickets to a Notre Dame home football game.
